On that note, I just officially released (and renamed) Incidental Music Player. I doubt it will find much of an audience but I enjoyed making it, learning some new APIs.
I think I am starting to feel the impact of a vibe-coded world. Our vet just moved all their prescriptions to a third-party SAAS. I've been waiting three weeks for my dog's arthritis meds. I finally did some troubleshooting on my own and determined their site strips my apartment number from the address without warning: what I see in the form when I click 'save' is not what is actually saved to the database.
My vet's office is a mile away, I was much better off being able to pick it up.
...and on that note, I added edge-snapping to retroStrip. Why didn't I do that in the first version. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I just uploaded a new beta for my macOS music player. In addition to fixing some bugs, the window now snaps to the display edges, and I added Japanese localization.
Re: Google rewriting headlines in search results: Yep, this is terrible. What is also terrible: 90% of modern headlines are written clickbait-style.

I just received a developer response to an app review I submitted ten years ago.
My favorite thing about little Finder guy is he'll help discourage any voices at Apple who might think it's time to replace the Finder with Files.app (I have not heard of any such plans, just worry).
How desperate has BBC gotten? This is peak click-bait.
This poster is still up at our neighborhood coffee shop, almost a year later. We never did find a home for her, but she's family now (we named her Olive).
I replaced my really old Apple Watch in December, and had to reset my iPhone a few weeks ago, and going through the whole “welcome to workout!” – for an app I’ve used daily for almost a decade – is really frustrating. Also the watch completely forgot my routines, so it’s charging to 100% again, instead of 80%. When will it ‘remember’ things again?
Is it safe to assume an updated Affinity for iPad OS is not going to happen?
Almost every pool I’ve been to this year is playing some version of Sad Girl radio and I’m over it.
Some major major SwiftUI appreciation... My head almost exploded when I saw the audio scrubber instantly jump to the right place while changing themes with audio playing. This is magical.

This was a lot more fun than I was expecting it to be.
