I think the other part is that a lot of features requires AI, like translation (even 2005 translate required it). People expect browser translation these days.

@david@cosocial.ca@c_9@mstdn.ca I'm pretty surprised tbh. I figured that since most of the electricity is already carbon free, we'd be more focused on EVs and heat pumps.
@syntaxseed@phpc.social Hard part is that employers just don't choose candidates who are self taught. And that employers are just not interested in getting apprentice unless they get paid more.
