Ever gotten an email like this? I open this newsletter regularly, but the sender thinks I don't.
The reason this happens is because my email provider blocks images by default. Why images? Because images often contain tracking pixels that indicate to the sender whether I opened the email or not.

YouTube cracking down on AI slop = opportunity for authentic creators
I don't know who needs to hear this, but writing things like "Don't hallucinate" or "Write clean code" don't automatically make LLMs ("AI") produce accurate—or optimal—results.

Just me, or does this sound wildly inefficient? I gotta imagine scheduling even a
"3-minute meeting" takes longer than simply reading the email...
Writing is good. Emails are good. Long emails that reduce the back-and-forth are even better.
A lotta people don't like writing—emails or otherwise—because it forces you to organize your thoughts. And it's referenceable.
And guess what? Subconsciously, I'll end up doing the same.
