i guess our experiences are/were vastly different or i repressed a lot. my thinking was more about the action of the teacher than the actions of the sudents.
but i also didn't think fesser was talking about high schoolers. i thought they were younger.

translates in moat cases 'picture this' to 'think of'
but can picture a route from a familiar point a to say a store including the houses and shops along the way
