Sports cars, 4x4s, vintage... I love them all.
I try to stay automotive focused on this instance.

Saw a well patina'ed, lifted third gen Subaru Legacy wagon on chonky tires and bronze TE37 style knock offs while I was at the liquor store this evening.
Looked the bidnez. I'm kicking myself for not having the presence of mind to snap a quick picture to share. Smallish town - I'll probably see it again.
I should do something with my Alltrack...
I've been 'boosting' a bunch of posts that are from the xitter bird.makeup fediverse gateway lately.
There's no interaction with these accounts typically but I boost because pretty automotive art should be shared ...
Dear UK car nerds...
It's been a long time since I've sat in a MGB GT (~1996) and even longer since I've sat in a Mk1 Capri (~1983).
How do these cars compare to one another when sitting in the cabin?
Does one have a better feeling of quality?
Does one feel more comfortable for a six foot tall person? I don't remember feeling cramped in either but that was decades ago and 40 lbs lighter. Ha.

I was today years old when I discovered that the Mercedes R129 had strut front suspension. WAT!? How did I miss this in the last 30+ years? Maybe I forgot. Ha.
I guess this layout has been a staple on Mercs forever but for some reason I thought the R129 was more "sports car bespoke". I wonder if the later R-chassis cars are strut too...
Here's that flappy paddle shift kit for the 722 I was referring to earlier.
