Fandom creates blind followers and makes critical thinkers potential enemies of the groupthink. Mastodon is a giant dangerous experiment that does NOT protect user data and has no e2e encryption! This is NOT a win for humanity, but creating the next big brother network masked as "cool b/c federated". We need to build privacy aware networks now!

Fediverse needs much more devs that are building privacy into their projects right form the beginning! One of the best features of teamtype is encrypted peer-to-peer connections, I hope this can be adopted to the fediverse!

You did not debunk anything here, just published two little pieces of pseudo-information with a lot of unrelated and probably AI generated text around to get more views. A good journalist would go out and speak to real people working for these companies to produce some reliable facts. You just sit at your computer and produce AI text, this is not enough.

"Believable" We need to think really hard about how to publish provable facts on the internet. Fediverse just copy pasting ad network features but with private censorship will not help. There is still absolutely no valuable hard fact presented that the Whistleblower was fake, just two very weak bits of pseudo-facts. One Gemini (AI!) result that might be wrong and one person "saying something" about how companies work. This is not enough to draw any conclusions about anything.

Zero facts presented here. AI result saying something might be an AI result is NOT a fact. But "Journalist" using AI result as if it was a fact says a lot about "journalist" competence.

With no way to check if it actually is true or not? No, it is not a "fact" or a "confirmation of truth" if there is some other text on the internet about the same issue. "Social media" is not made for confirming truth, but for spreading ads to target groups.
