How do you keep out the spammers from registering at your Mastodon instance, but still keep registration open?
At #FediForum, Stefan Hayden demo'd a new tool for helping with that.
FediForum is one of the supporters of the European Social Stack declaration that was published today.
in the cooperative spirit of FediForum, we are glad that so many -- often competing -- organizations are coming together to the common cause of advancing better forms of social media in Europe.

Flohmarkt is federated decentralized classified ad software using ActivityPub. They showed off how you can use other fedi platforms (e.g. Mastodon) to interact with small ads and talk to the seller via direct messages.
