They just work.
A bit expensive, but administrating those was so nice when I was doing it at my old school. And the drivers are just available for linux easily. And it's just pain-less printing.

@adulau I hate Discourse UI/UX I find it confusing and so painfully slow and the search almost never give me what I want.
(yeah discord too has those issues… at least discourse can work without being logged in I guess)

@emue Le riz on peut facilement en avoir du français. La Camargue est une région dans laquelle le riz pousse très bien (et d'ailleurs y'a une bonne quantité de riz qui y est produite).
Pour le thé, il y a plusieurs plantations de thé en Bretagne. Mais c'est du thé de luxe, donc assez cher.
Du coup pour moi ça serait le thé et chocolat. (je bois pas de café)

@0x7700e6@mastodon.catgirl.cloud Err… France already used Linux for half of it's cops (cops are separated between "Police" and "Gendarmerie" and only the later did the switch to it's own Ubuntu derivative OS) and parts of the military.
Not to mention the public education and cities in France that already ditched Windows (well… part of the education are signing contracts worth billions with M$ instead of using Libreoffice…)
So… it's nothing new. France has been doing it for decades. But it won't do a full switch that easily and that fast without a strong leader that wants that… and for now that's not who Macron is.
