I don't know how the burning of Washington in 1814 fits into it or if it causes a discontinuity though.
I'm only just getting around to reading the "What's new in #python 3.12" doc, and I was not expecting to come across references to Sleep Token songs in the section about PEP 701.
I was literally listening to the song Alkaline as I started reading the doc! 😆
