@sundogplanets@mastodon.social Elon will say he's deployed Optimus to the moon for cleanup, but it'll actually be clones of Sam Rockwell https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon_(2009_film)

I finally got The Queen of France from Rejected framed

@getalifemike@urbanists.social I did not instantly recognize any photos of a kitchen, had to check twice to find the first bathroom, and am unsure why there is a toilet in the corner of an otherwise empty large room

@InsiderTreat @adarsh All the other replies seem to be excited but Sea Org is what popped into my head https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea_Org

@jamie@zomglol.wtf I’m surprised Google Docs still doesn’t have mail merge, a feature that existed when computers were powered by an 80286 CPU

@jeneralist @FolksVelo bikes in Japan are often bare-bones because you would ride maybe 15 minutes to the train station that gives you a 5 minute walk to work at the other end
Finally got around to watching The Studio and it is fantastic. Catherine O'Hara's introduced with a oner to be followed up with the episode Oner which, despite the joke, appears to actually be a oner
Disappointed but not surprised so many people drove to the opening of the light rail

@BrItneY @vampiress another vote for Dead Space. I’ll also add that the weapons targeting is projected as well, and changes per-weapon
Light rail open one weekend and there’s already a “rent by light rail” poster on the nearest bulletin board in
For All Mankind seems to be projecting a narrative in its a choice for this season's logo
@adarsh@ruby.social solarboi on TikTok made the point that a competent maniacal asshole would first build up energy security through solar, wind, and electrification and only once it was a major export would they attack foreign oil production so other countries would have to buy what your country sold
I have a drawer microwave and found that if I place my finger over the open-close button, but don’t press it, it adds three seconds when the countdown expires
I haven’t noticed any other button with a separate touch and press feature. I wonder if this is for people who hate the microwave beeping

@AkaSci@fosstodon.org the orbital parameters and provisional names are right there in the link. Search “Orbital elements” and immediately following that is each moon and its name starting with moon “S/2019 S 22”

@lluad @Paul_Taylor ah, then it seems odd that DMARC would be a requirement to deliver mail
Replying to
@pointlessone@status.pointless.one this reads to me that it’s largely conventionally programmed and doesn’t use anything that could lead to an actual intelligence. It’s likely that this emulation of intelligence will be sufficiently effective that nothing more is needed
Replying to
@lluad @Paul_Taylor my favorite is getting a DMARC report for an sender my SPF record forbids, thus should not have generated a DMARC report for

@veganstraightedge@ruby.social until we can reproduce the intelligence of an ant colony I have no fears
Ant-level intelligence is probably what Ted Faro started selling in his war machines

@pointlessone@status.pointless.one insects run on under ¼ cubic centimeter total so lots of room for improvement 😬

@shlee@aus.social I bought this in 2022 from a Don Hertzfeldt kickstarter for World of Tomorrow. Maybe he’ll run another one someday?
