@catsalad He does this little head twitch at the end, to say 'on your way mate, out of here!'

@NanoRaptor@bitbang.social @Sylvhem@eldritch.cafe @AdmiralMemo@mastodon.social To be fair, anyone growing up with the US imperial system would be conditioned that none of the conversions of anything into anything are nice round numbers. Anyone growing up with the metric system knows it's all 10, 100, 1000.

@toni@zug.network @futurebird@sauropods.win Onedrive and google drive have a lot to answer for here. The fact that they don't default to showing folders, and populate every file dialogue with 'these are your recent files' has messed up most kids understanding of 'where' exactly their files are. Neither of these applications can be set to default to a file structure either, which is dumb. Yes! These things need to be explicitly taught....

@venya consider all I/o as line level- still need preamps, and no remote gain controls. Direct outs from a desk work great. A 2 in 2 out desktop interface at the computer will sort your monitoring needs. https://www.google.com/search?q=focuriye+dante&sca_esv=111f151f5b064434&sxsrf=ANbL-n6hLEd4_zLgLtbqyNVDn-VeF_rIlQ%3A1774120742591&source=hp&ei=Ju--abWGIoO00-kPkYmXyAY&biw=402&bih=653&oq=focuriye+dante&gs_lp=EhFtb2JpbGUtZ3dzLXdpei1ocCIOZm9jdXJpeWUgZGFudGUyBxAAGIAEGA0yBxAAGIAEGA0yBxAAGIAEGA0yBxAAGIAEGA0yBhAAGA0YHjIGEAAYDRgeMgYQABgNGB4yBhAAGA0YHkifMFCiDFiALHACeACQAQCYAeEBoAGQFqoBBTAuNi44uAEDyAEA-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&sclient=mobile-gws-wiz-hp#piu=ps:19&sv=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

@venya Have built a bunch of dante systems. Because of the licensing, the hardware has a base cost per i/o box, but grab them second hand is good because no-one knows what they are. Advise getting all the same brand, so you only use one setup program for all interfaces. Get a good POE switch, most of them can be powered from this. A very useful product for me was the BSS blu-Dan. This allowed a full matrix of the whole venue- send anything to anywhere. DM me if you have any Qs.
