@Unixbigot@aus.social I hope you don't scare them away. Have you thought about comparing notes with James Veitch?

@wiert@mastodon.social They're now called "Shokz" and I'm hearing the build quality has gone down (especially the buttons seem to degrade quite fast), but it's an amazing technology and definitely worth it. @foone@digipres.club

@slyka@pawb.fun You accidentally made an art that would fit well with something like the Chaos Communication Congress. Put the breadboard into a frame with lights next to the TV and you're done. An explanation with the details would of course be welcome. Make a tower of old TVs where you display altered output of your vidicon cameras or just show three hours of fireworks and you have a complete exhibition. Could even throw in a lathe that records directly from a microphone to CD for variety.

@slyka@pawb.fun If said microphone were a certain model also produced by you, I'm pretty sure people would bring all sorts of electronics and make little live concerts - with only one permanent record each, carved into a CD.

@neandertall@mstdn.social @AlisonW@fedimon.uk @BrianBinh@dice.camp @bluedragon@masto.yttrx.com Is that where German "Art" (kind, sort, manner) comes from? It sounds eerily similar.

@neandertall@mstdn.social @AlisonW@fedimon.uk @BrianBinh@dice.camp @bluedragon@masto.yttrx.com Thank you! But etymological dictionaries tell me its origin is unclear, without even a mention of *ardiz? Is it time to update them?

@RosaCtrl Ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring -

@mrundkvist I wish there was more of a difference between CDU and the US Republicans. https://correctiv.org/aktuelles/trump-und-europa/2025/03/12/geld-macht-kampagnen-der-lange-arm-von-team-trump-2/ (DE)

@fleaz@chaos.social Du hast Bluetooth vergessen. So viele optionale Features... Und die Fülle an Profilen... Aber es funktioniert häufig dann doch irgendwie.

@adele@phpc.social If you are willing to include a small HTML snippet in your document, you can already have this for Markdown and LaTeX, see https://casual-effects.com/markdeep/ and https://github.com/susam/texme for example.
