Give your spouse, significant other, or best friend a compliment. Do it, right now. Especially if you're a guy. Especially if the person you're thinking about is a guy. It doesn't have to be big; if you don't know what to say tell them that you like them or that they're really pretty or that you genuinely enjoy spending time with them, whichever fits best.
I can guarantee you that whoever you give that compliment to will have a much better day after you do.
Gotta say, I'm regularly impressed by the quality of @qgis@fosstodon.org.
Throwing the several gigabytes of TIFF files that is a high-resolution elevation scan of the entire world at it makes it think for a minute but as soon as it has loaded all that it's buttery smooth in displaying my frantic panning around.
So yeah, kudos to the engineering behind QGIS and all of its dependencies which likely play a big part for why the experience is so nice. :blobcatheart:

@openrisk SQLite is just as much a “full blown” database as MySQL is, and infinitely less suited for the kinds of access patters typical of websites. And claiming the LAMP stack somehow stops you from writing mostly static websites is, frankly, ludicrous. Please stop blaming advancing /technology/ for bad /management/ decisions.
