I need some help.
I need to move my self-hosted instance from one machine to another. I don’t have the language to describe this to the internet to look for tutorials; I keep getting results for moving accounts between servers, for example.
Does anybody know of any good how-tos for this, or the right language to use in searches?

This has been around for years, but I really like how much effort this neighbor invested in roofing the little free library. Touches like this are really special, in top of the specialness of the library itself (literally).

Part of the reason I got into electronics* a few years ago was the dream of building a weather-powered weather station. It just doesn’t seem like it’s ever going to happen.
Does anybody have recommendations for a FOSS-like station that I could just buy?

The renowned Bassman might originally have been for basses (I’m guessing here), but I suspect they’ve been used by orders of magnitude more guitars.

I’ve only played my basses through the studio version (it’s the same amp but with extra modeling options). My friend borrowed and played guitar and ukulele through it; they said they liked it. There isn’t really a whole lot that’s particularly ‘bassy’ about it—it’s only got an 8” speaker!

Does it need to be battery-powered? If not, the Rumble 25 might be nice. Very simple, inexpensive ,and good clean tone. I like the sound of the Orange amps, but I think they color your tone, and you mentioned you care about your clean tone.
