Had a blast with the kid at possibly the best Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra event I’ve seen in years. Coincidentally, I got to see some old friends I hadn’t seen in years.
In case the image doesn’t make it clear, they displayed the film while playing the score live. It made for an unforgettable viewing of a movie I’ve seen dozens of times.
I also got the inside scoop on next year’s film score. 🤐😄

Finally got around to setting up DNS over TLS to Quad9. I know it’s a relatively small security bump, but it’s still pretty cool to have encrypted DNS running network wide.

I'd probably watch this
A woman called me a “fuckin’ honky” at Best Buy today because she didn’t like that I was helped before her. Apparently she felt wronged because the online order line was filtered in to the normal checkout line and I didn’t have to wait as long. 🤷🏻♂️
The interesting part is that no one said a word to her. I have to imagine that if the roles were reversed, it would’ve gone very differently.
The president of the United States, folks. You can't make this up.

Whoa. It looks like the only way to reach /all is to use https://old.reddit.com/r/all/.
The new interface just redirects to 'home'.
Why is reddit killing /all?

@tylxr Ya, I’ve been using docker for years, too. It’s greatly simplified my setup, so I’m very fond of it. I just haven’t migrated my Masto instance yet. I work as a Rails dev, so I’m really familiar with managing it, but I’d still rather avoid managing dependencies if I can avoid it.
I set up a new host this morning and configured it in Komodo, so I think I’m ready to migrate. After looking at the compose file that they offer, it should be a pretty straightforward process. 🤞

@Nundrum Gotcha. My server is vanilla so far, so it shouldn’t be a problem. Appreciate the heads up, though!

@mastodonmigration@mastodon.online What’s the name of the masto account doing the scraping?

@superbetsy@mastodon.social I feel like “winningest” has been present in sports vocabulary for a long time, especially in baseball.
