@felipeB @lynnesbian This was my first thought as well. Normalizing this behavior is going to cause problems with end users scanning anything to just get rid of it

@chad The only real downsides I've experienced with Docker (and this could be a skill issue) is that sometimes an app will misbehave and dump logs into your Docker image and it can be a pain to figure out what's going on. And depending on how stripped down the Linux distro that the image ships with is, you might not have all the tools you'd like/expect to have in the shell for the image.
Overall though, the trade off it worth it. IMHO
Working on getting a suitable Discord replacement spun up for my friend group. Matrix and Mumble might be the move
Welcoming an M1 Macbook Pro into the rotation with @AsahiLinux@social.treehouse.systems! Wicked smooth experience installing it. Hoping it fills in the niche of a small, lightweight development and media consumption machine
Been experimenting with some new CLI stuff. Eza, yazi, and zsh have been incredibly useful. Kitty terminal has replaced Konsole for me (I still love your stuff @kde@floss.social!)
Special shout out to git and micro - they aren't new to me but I've been living with them a lot more lately and finally feel like I understand them. Micro especially since I got Wayland clipboard support setup (finally)
