@JustinDerrick @bimmer I like that it kinda looks like it could work, but if you try to open the door you fall into the 5th dimension 😄

@toba@zeroes.ca this resonated with me: “Students are afraid to fail, and AI presents itself as a savior. But what we learn from history is that progress requires failure. It requires reflection.” Resilience is key. Thanks for posting!

@coreyspowell “What’s frustrating is that many of the elements are in place for Project Hail Mary to be the thoughtful meditation on curiosity and self-preservation that it clearly aspires to be”. I had the same hopes for the book, but it feels like it was written by or for a 14yo boy. So perhaps this really isn’t the material for thoughtful meditations on curiosity!

@TamaraKraal@aus.social how exciting to design something so new and interesting! Congrats to your son!
@nygl@aus.social one of my faves. The white ale is also nice
Replay of the launch from a 3rd party source. My NASA feed dropped out and camera lagged, but this is much better: https://www.youtube.com/live/QOsSRRBMNoc?si=EJkD6IcSEzTIURf6&t=26138

@troberts@theblower.au only 3 eps up so far and a bit of a slow start. Hoping it turns into something good.
Integrity: “nice view of the moon out the window”
Capcom: “guess we’ll have to go back!” 😄

@bridget@beige.party for the curious, ABC just put up their Sex Workers episode of “You Can’t Ask That” where they answer viewer questions. Hopefully it’s not region locked: https://youtu.be/Ts4p23fnUjU?si=D0OiK1nPcfzbywRw

@hkrn@mstdn.social I read about this in Andy Clark’s book “The Experience Machine: How our Minds Predict and Shape Reality”. Super interesting and led me down a whole rabbit hole of new brain development ideas.

@FediTips@social.growyourown.services can you show at least 1 post when someone visits that profile and provide a “show more posts” button like you do with replies? No one is going to follow those steps if there’s nothing to see on their profile.
