A 'cult of personality' thing happening wrt bsky. Ppl are rooting for the founding team to 'win' which *is nice* but also super unhinged after everything that has happened.
Technology is not a mutually exclusive thing. This is a win for fediverse overall not just a privately held venture backed company.
I welcome new models for media (obvs?) but lets not get our wires crossed about the objectives and incentives. No business model is a big question mark and track record here is what it is.

We always stated the point was write web standards and focus on web technology. It was a "stop gap". We definitely had poor experiences and occasional good ones like Instagram for example.
Unprofessional work is possible with any technology. I'm not saying all spas are bad but I am saying there are better default ways of building web apps.

I will stand by the opinion that working links, forms and good performance by default are hallmarks of professional work.
