Forgot to post this when i saw it last year
botvolution
your unpleasant lizard.
I've been floating in the fediverse since at least 2018 in one guise or another.
A full suamsh makes for you a happy heram.

Hawthorn, Crataegus monogyna.
I expect the entirety of US military personnel is hanging out reading left-ish social media exhorting them to disobey illegal orders, going "omg they're right, we must".
Every pic from Artemis II was pin sharp and amazing, and every pic of the splashdown & retrieval looks like it was taken with a 2005 flipphone
Oh hello i thought PaulineB-S had retired? She's a fucking handful that girl.
I loved Round The Twist. I also loved Rosie and Jim, but the duck sometimes gave me The Fear
Here's part of an installation at the Arnolfini Gallery in Bristol, by Lebanese artist Mounira Al Solh.
I was going to watch the midnightish splashdown but then again I'm sleepy so I'll go to bed and maybe hear it on the radio like in the 1970s which was before televisions were invented, like.
I thought I'd taken a pic of some genuinely gorgeous Bristol street art in Stokes Croft, but somehow I find I didn't.
Here's the weird wall eye on Christmas Steps instead.
Is it time for bed? It feels like it should be time for bed.
I have just built a nice thing, which needs a bit of calibration, and for little jobs like this, last year I bought myself a little FNIRSI multitool, which would be perfect IF I HAD NOT MISLAID EVERY SINGLE ONE OF ITS LITTLE PROBES AND SHIT
Why wouldn't I?
Because I don't want to be on yet another shit mailing list getting my data sold to whoever.
"free to read" my arse.
A gorgeous Prickly Sow-thistle, Sonchus asper, found in the Bearpit in Bristol on Thursday.
The fediverse is a hive of clever makers and technologists, so if any of them are both reading this and building a time machine, forget about going back and killing baby Hitler; instead set course for 1985 and take care of baby Sam Altman.
So anyway you can go to the shop or go to the store but you can go shopping but you can't go storeing and that is why calling shops stores is stupid the end
Television is once again shit, and i have somehow found myself watching the netball, a game as dull and incomprehensible as basketball, only very slightly offset by the fact that the competitors wear cute little dresses.
Is there any other sport where the teams wear dresses?
(Before anyone say "Cheerleading", that is not a sport, it is a summoning ritual.)
Sat down to watch England kick the Irish arse, promptly spilled fresh mug of boiling tea all over sofa and own arse. Perfect.
Just got a "spare" used thinkpad, a t470 for a change (I'm really a 15.6 guy but i threw caution to the winds)
I use 2.5" ssds to swap in/out when I get a "new" puter, but i didn't think to check with the supplier & this one has a NVME.
I *think* you can swap in a 2.5 but I'm not 100% sure.
Booted a usb & there's some annoying little niggles (ctl-q won't work? Wtf?). that trackpad faux click arrangement is fucking horrible.
Sigh.
Probably have to go back.
I hate modern (2017) computers.
I'm exhausted for no apparent reason. My entire weekend has been shit in a low-grade way. And the whole house fucking stinks of horrible pizza and chicken fast food because the wind is blowing in the exact fucking direction to carry it from their respective kitchens.
MOAN
Bit pissy seeing the Principality with thousands of empty seats after Twickenham was jammed.
