Ich bitte um eine Einordnung, wie sehr bisherige Befugnisse für die Ermittlung genutzt werden, wie die Erfolge aussehen und aus welchen Gründen diese ausbleiben. Ich bitte um eine klare Erklärung wie viele Befugnisse, welche die Grundrechte schleifen, unser Staat aushält bevor er offiziell ein Überwachungsstaat ist. Ich bitte NICHT um krass positives Framing auf diesem Kanal.

Would you agree, that the amount of blame should correlate with how much capacity they had to choose? I do agree with you, that blaming those billionaires does not free the rest of us from blame. At the same time I agree with this thread, that these people are clearly and freely choosing evil. So they deserve mounts of blaim.

The world would be a better place if "the cost" would mean the unwanted effects of a decision and not this bizarr placeholder metric "money".

Our actions have bigger consequences then supply and demand could model.
Yet we can't stop to pretend otherwise.

No one is hoping that the climate is fixed when these people are stopped. They need to be stopped, so they don't continue to make it worse. @eribosot@mastodon.social @jwcph@helvede.net And to fix the problem, it needs avenues of action. Actions that can't happen without the capacity to choose. Individual action will not fix this problem. For collective action to happen, the collective needs to join behind a common goal. For this to happen, it needs voices of anger and discontent. It also needs blame, to put pressure on those who have the capacity to choose. Unrest is a social function which has it's function. It is dangerous, but also needed.

@fff Der Wunsch von vollständiger Unabhängig klingt dabei auch immer nach dem Wunsch Kriege führen zu können... Das Ziel ist es Unabhängig von klimaschädlichen Energieträgern zu erreichen. Es austauschen durch ein Ziel Unabhängigkeit von Energieimporten zu erreichen ist ein nationalistischer Schritt, der nichts mit Klimaschutz und viel mit rechter Rethorik zu tun hat.

ich will eine Idee aus dem Kopf los werden.
Bitte liefert Argumente, warum sie schlecht ist. 🙂

Die Idee:
Miniatur Carbon Capture & Storage Geräte, die nur Strom aufnehmen, wenn die Netzfrequenz über 50,005 Herz liegt.
Dafür aber ohne für den Strom zahlen zu müssen.

Also dezentrale Netzstabilisierung mit Nutzen für die Allgemeinheit.

"Es gibt keine Mini-CCS-Geräte" als offensichtliches Argument greife ich vorweg. 😅

Making people responsible for choices that they see out of their control promotes resignation. Seeing the responsibility to act on some other entity (e.g. politicians) promotes stagnation. Demanding change is action. Protest is action. Anger leads to action. The important thing is that we encourage action on any level. Self care, consume, protest, community work. Anything!

Market theory predicts long term: Higher demand leads to higher competition and higher supply. Economics of scale lead to lower prices. And market reality is way more complex...

The person may become a role model for action and change a lot directly and indirectly. When a person has the option to do so, that's great! A person that does not have these options may do other valuable things and is not less for it. The people with smallest capacity to choose, that are still fighting to do good, are the bravest.

@Bundesregierung@social.bund.de ... womit viele Fahrschulen endgültig nicht mehr kostendeckend arbeiten können und schließen werden müssen. Nicht gut für das Geschäftsmodell PKW... Wenn das aber ein seaky Plan ist PKW's unattraktiv zu machen und ÖPNV zu förden, ist das natürlich super. Außer, dass junge Menschen auf dem Land davon wieder übermäßig betroffen sein werden.
