wait, TIL this is a thing, and it's sick?? https://jank-lang.org/
it's a C/C++ hosted clojure that lets you use it like a scripting language over things written in it! (kinda like lua!)
apparently even just normal clojure tooling works with it too!
huh! i just saw someone who didn't recognize what language japanese text was in!
...that's rare, right?
maybe i should try to get better at using touchscreen inputs for games?
anytime i see someone just absolutely ripping it up in a fast paced shooter on a phone without a gamepad or keyboard/mouse, it feels like i'm gazing into the abyss of such a major skill issue on my part
"it's so easy to underestimate you"; schrodinger's compliment
while i Do Not Like needles, i do like mentioning how little i felt to the people giving me them afterwards

@Chrishallbeck@mastodon.social ooh! i recently learned about aphantasia!
apparently, the strength of your mental imaging is actually pretty directly related to how likely you are to struggle with anxiety! and people who have less (or no) imaging tend to think of things in much more precise ways
so there's this weird split with how people think about it (which seems...weirdly fitting)

@LexYeen as someone who is pretty open about being abdl, it's fun how the number of private messages i get from people who say "oh!! me too!" correlates with how welcoming and safe a space seems to be!
like, it's super-self-evident, because i feel the vibes too! but it's always been fun how those vibes translate so tangibly to the existence of more people who are often othered in those spaces

@m@lgbtqia.space dang, maybe doing this on fedi has its biases, but the results of this are neat! :blobfox3c:
i adore rss, but it's not easy to find readers without going out of your way to get something that you kinda have to already know exists--so it really doesn't seem particularly popular outside of podcasting
gone are the days of support being built into browsers by default (though, shoutout to vivaldi for being an exception here)
