@kasdeya@cryptid.cafe Usually first we show a couple pictures including visor and they are like "oh that's cool, like a cosplay!" Which then gives us the opportunity to try and explain that this is not really like a fantasy character as much as an attempt at creation pointing towards an ideal self / reflecting on the outside what's on the inside. Usually the point gets across in an abstract way, but i haven't had random people on the train Get It in the way that trans people would Get It. Still i think overall there is some awareness being spread so it is worth it! Also i am weird and think that explaining weird things to strangers and seeing their reactions is fun
