One little mantra that continues to serve me well especially in big transitions/new challenges, is this: "I can learn what I need to learn when I need to learn it." You don't have to be prepared, you can't fully be prepared, that's why it's a leap. But you're prepared to learn & adjust with open mind & heart. Great adventures require not only serendipitous aligning of universal magic I don't fully understand (but accept with my whole damn heart, undeservingly, whenever it comes my way) but also a kind of delusional trust in yourself that turns out to be self-fulfilling in an also magical way.

@Troggie I had moderate pain with mine. I have four kids and got it after my 4th so, yeah, not a tight cervix lol. I’ll also mention my pain tolerance is quite high (3/4 births were unmedicated). It is wild to me that a procedure like this is routinely given without even a mention of pain meds. I asked about my options and was told to take Tylenol for any “discomfort” after.
