В Ubuntu можно конфигурировать AppArmor на лету, разрешая доступ к файлам по фильтрам. Прям мечта. Жаль это пока только эксперимент, Убунту и пока только файлы. (Если честно, возникает вопрос, какого хуя это не было имплементировано раньше)

@Jumpmed@mastodon.social quite a lot of women are friends with me. Their possible personal history with violence, if exists, or global history of patriarchy, does not seem to hinder our relationship. They congratulate (is this the correct word?) me with my birthday and new year, invite me on their birthdays and so on. They react well to congrats with March 8th. Yet, none of them congratulate me on November 19th. I don't think this is in any way connected to violence or oppression. It seems to me that there is simply no tradition to celebrate 19.11 like it is with 8.03. At least in our parts of the world (Eastern Europe).

It sounds to me (I've probably misunderstood) that transactionality can be achieved by having local transactions on actors (via STM for in-memory computations or database transactions for stateful changes) and providing methods that expose transactionality to callers.
I am interested in transactions, currently implementing binding to LMDB that can be used in STM. Wonder if my findings can be helpful for Vervis
