As long as it’s all right for me to give my nuanced perspective in the comments. :) I think the point I’m mostly trying to make, if I may, is that there’s not only »covid-conscious leading to protection to the extent you’re taking« and »not covid-conscious at all« but that there is a lot of middle ground between these positions, some of which may be viewed from the outside as belonging to either pole.

@scy@chaos.social Felt excluded by the choices. Picked »no longer Covid-conscious« because that’s probably the appearance. My consciousness of the disease is still present. I get regular vaccinations, and I have somewhat changed my behaviour relative to pre-2020 with regards to ventilation and am more aware of exposure vectors to pathenogenes. Still, I don’t mask or test in my day to day (but as you know, I readily do if asked). Guess I look like a »covid is over« type? It’s not over, it’s different.

@hailey Now I would only love to run a 2.4 kernel in the WSL terminal, for added nostalgia.

@venetiana @Oecan Broken Earth trilogy by NK Jemisin. Fantasy but a bit different, some kind of stone sorcery, a bit dystopian, quirky but likeable characters, many queer but it’s not a big deal. I liked it a lot.

I don’t have reason to suspect having ADHD, but I really dislike forming habits and lose them quickly without external help (unless it is something I am very motivated to do regularly, but then it doesn’t feel like it’s a habit, it still feels like I do it when I want to, and it typically also has irregularities). Maybe I only have one small strand of ADHD in my brain.

@kevin@mastodon.km6g.us @danb@chaos.social I remember A batteries for my childhood cassette recorder, and AAAA batteries for my MP3 player. (About at the same time as the latter I also learned about AAAA DNS records.) Am I old or are you young?

@tootapp@mastodon.social Is there something special I have to do if I was beta-testing if I want to install 1.0? Or will betas via TestFlight continue to arrive?

@tootapp@mastodon.social I see. I also get the feeling I should be able to pay for the 1.0, but the App Store only shows an »Update« button that doesn't do anything when tapped. Do you know anything about how to remedy that? (Didn't want to uninstall the app on shaky train internet yet, that might work.) Maybe more people than just me have that problem, too :)
