@jerry I am currently wearing four.

@minego@pdx.social Hope they wear a condom.

@minego@pdx.social They were. I was an Alta vista fan back in the day.

@jerry@infosec.exchange Awww. The cake /cupcake combo is genius!

@blogdiva@mastodon.social @Jorsh@beige.party Yep. As a sort of ex -Catholic (it is so complicated), I have very little tolerance for pro-life, pro-death penalty Catholics.

@PhoenixSerenity@beige.party Oh? Acting like a little ding dong?

@PhoenixSerenity@beige.party Cats gonna cat

@sayomgwtf @ixi I bet all those veg got teeth marks in them.

@pippa@famichiki.jp That blows

@spiegelmama @Jorsh She looks good!

@otterX @KayJanes Awww. I think they have recently left my area. They come here in October-ish and leave in early Spring.

@soft It is good. Affordable . And now I am gonna think of roach pussy when I was my face.

@minego Hey.

@EdCates@mastodon.social @catsalad@infosec.exchange I aspire to be as bad ass as this fucker.

@ericdaryl@mas.to @ethniccanuck@ohai.social That is cool!

@FlockOfCats@famichiki.jp Poop!!!!

So far today has been grocery shopping, kitchen clean up, and lying in bed between loads of laundry. Struggle bus continues.

OMG this is so accurate. https://youtube.com/shorts/gzbdXSzGOFo?si=XazWHP3PREXhvfUP

OMG ALDI had gabagool!!!! Probably going to be disappointed, but OMG.

Fellow USians: Today USPS letter carriers are picking up donations for their annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive. You can place bags of non-perishable, unopened food items by your mailbox and your letter carrier will take them to bring all the donations to a local food bank. I know lots of folks do shopping on Saturday morning, so if you can afford it, pick up some cereal, pasta, soup, peanut butter, whatever, and donate it. Give the best you can. Everyone deserves to eat well.

Shout out to all the bougie and basic ladies as the the grocery store today. I know I should have solidarity with you, but you make it so difficult.

Shout out to each of the number 23s on Mr. 13’s soccer team, including Mr. 13 himself.

What’s on tap for folks today? I need to give someone a ride to work and probably popover to Aldi’s to get stuff to make the kids’ lunches this week. Otherwise, i don’t plan on doing too much. Ms. 9 had a sleepover last night, and she and her friend are still crashed out.

So overwhelmed and for no good reason. Need a time out.

Slipped in some mud while jogging, fell down, and cracked one rib. Otherwise totally fine. I am such a dork.

Bought a Hot Wheels that looks like the Fisher Price rotary phone pull toy.

Kind of a weird thing, but today I am wearing earrings made from a ring my dad gave my mom. She had them made a few years back. The guy who made them pierced my ears when I was a kid. Kinda neat.

@minego@pdx.social No. My mom smoked while pregger!

@LoganFive@beige.party Yeah, motherfucker!!!!

@minego I freaking love it! I find it refreshing.

Shout out to Chinese parent I only kinda know leaning over at Mr. 13 ‘s soccer match to tell me ( in Mandarin) that the old guy yelling at the ref is annoying.

My family doesn’t really like the traditional graham cracker crust that goes with cheesecake but they always want cheesecake for their birthdays. Thus, I have been experimenting. For my spouse’s recent birthday, I used unsweetened cocoa powder, ground hazelnuts , a little sugar, melted butter, and a little salt. For Ms. 8’s recent birthday, I used almond flour, ground hazelnuts, a little sugar, a little salt, and melted butter. I think I like the second one best.

Got a lot of rants a brewin’, and I been wearing ill-fitting underwears for like 3 months.

@minego@pdx.social When you buy some meth?

@0xabad1dea@infosec.exchange @intransitivelie@beige.party Total muppet! :-)

And my name is Carmelita.

@minego That is just kind of rude, in my opinion.

Shout out to Wood Thrushes, the only bird whose song creeps me out.

Shout out to all the folks on campus today who are graduating (and their families). A sincere congrats from me, but you are also stressing me the fuck out.

The icon thingy that is supposed to symbolize AI on many apps just makes me think of ghosts, farts, and the Pittsburgh Steelers logo.

Shout out to everyone else who is not ready for another week out there in the hellscape. If you find yourself falling into k hole like spiral of angst, shame, and negative self talk (not that I would know anything about that), try to hang on to these truths:

Rest is a right, not a reward.
All we have is each other, act accordingly (with love and care).
Our value is independent of our productivity.
Our identity transcends a job title.

#SolidarityForever

Shout out to the Golden Retriever in the backseat of the Blazer in front of me today. It’s do hard to decide which window to stick your head out of sometimes.

Changed out the food by my dead brother’s picture, and tossed the chestnuts that were there out in the backyard. Waiting for squirrels to show up.

I’m making some bucatini with some canned tomatoes, garlic, Romano, crushed red pepper flakes, and pancetta later this week and I kinda can’t wait for it.

Getting ready to submit another paper. We’ll see.

Still dreaming about stealing a yacht (a modest one) and running away somewheres for a bit.

@minego I love it, but I would never present it as the only option. So, I’m with you!

Hey folks. I just want to remind each and every one of you of some facts.

1. We each deserve to be treated with love and care.
2. We have a duty to treat others with love and care.
3. Rest is a right, not a reward.
4. Our identity transcends our job title (or lack there of).
5. Our value is independent from our productivity.

#SolidarityForever

Shout out to the MF VsCode and PowerAutomate tray icons looking too god damn alike. Fuck you MS!

I am having bizarre dreams 60 days into CPAP treatment for sleep apnea. I read that this is common. Weird.
