My son published a language learning app (French <-> German) that he not only created but also uses himself. It's a passion project that he put a lot of effort in and now it's available for free and open source. Give his post a boost and let him know if you tested the app and have some feedback.

@monoxyd@mastodon.social imho es fehlt der Entscheidende Auslöser für eine Massenbewegung. In Frankreich wären längst die Straßen voll. In Deutschland ist mehr nötig. Vielleicht passiert überraschend bald was, vielleicht braucht es noch mehr Kahlschlag. Sieht jedenfalls alles sehr trüb aus.

We're really happy if we can complain. So we do. Often. About the most miniscule things. @anneprince Danke für das Feedback. Es liegt leider an mir dass wir die App nicht einfach auf den Google Playstore packen, da muss man auch durch einige Reifen hüpfen. @olli_games hat es ja vor allem deswegen veröffentlicht um zu erfahren uaf welche Probleme die Nutzer:innen stoßen um es dann anpassen zu können. Aber ja, App auf Playstore hängt noch bei mir und wir nicht sehr bald kommen.

@vivavaleria no, looks like it didn't correctly load the file with the language strings, maybe it works after a restart. I only say that because someone else said it looks different after a restart - still a bug.

@wiase Ich finds bissi kacke dass sich "ich block alles was mich minimal anpisst" so durchgesetzt hat. Dass sag ich natürlich nur weil ich selbst nervig bin und mir so eins zwei Blocks von Leuten eingefangen hab die ich eigentlich gern in meiner Bubble lesen würde. Blöd halt dass es Threads kaputt macht wenn die in der Diskussion beteiligt sind usw. Naja, heulen auf hohem Niveau. Wer geblockt wird hat es selbstverständlich immer verdient, issehkla.
