Meines Wissens nach, bekommen Tiere in der konventionellen Landwirtschaft B12 verabreicht, was der Hauptgrund ist, warum Menschen, wenn sie Tiere aus der Massentierhaltung essen, B12 Mangel verhindern können. - Da verabreiche ich mir das B12 dann lieber schonend selbst.

I am chatting with a seemingly nice person. She cares about the #environment . At the same time she uses #AI . To be honest, I can't explain to her well enough, how this doesn't fit. The fact, that the usage of AI ruins the environment, because of #Data usage is something, that I just believed, but I never read a descent #article or #paper about it.
Do you know, who can explain this in detail?

@Shrigglepuss@godforsaken.website I remember when I heard about old housewives saying, that they don't need electrified kitchen technology. They argued that they hadn't needed it before. Stirring things for example had been working fine. - I think about that sometimes. Maybe I used to be one of those people, who was smiling at them. Ignorantly.
They were right. A spoon, some silence and a bit more time is better, than something, that is louder, faster and also probably a bit more complicated to clean and to sustain. Faster technology is only helpful, when it doesn't come with the eventual expectation, to produce more in shorter amounts of time.

@Shrigglepuss@godforsaken.website What's also really nice is when you visit a festival bathroom and you can see, that it's half full, because you are an optimist and suddenly a fly decides to leave its new home and tries to take a rest on your buttocks. That's also a communal experience.

@thatfrisiangirlish I never really saw any worth in badges. Maybe they can motivate people. Maybe they can make people feel good. In many cases they are a tool, that helps to manipulate people. If you really, seriously do what someone wants you to do, because you want to earn the batch itself, it shows to me, that you fell for a trick.

@ruralgloom@c.im Unmöglich, wie das Publikum mitsingt und tanzt und sich schubst. Ich verstehe ja, wenn man sich vor lauter extremer Emotionen nicht zurück halten kann, aber etwas leiser und bewegungsloser hätten die sich schon verhalten können. Vor allem die extremen Gesichtszüge zeugen von frivoler Gesichtsexpression, die an Provokation kaum seinesgleichen findet. Die Stimmung ist beinahe außer Kontrolle! Was sind das bitte für unzivilisierte Vorbilder?
