The very first teeny tiny broad beans seedlings emerged today! They make an excellent winter crop. #garden #vegetables
Today's #writing session was one of those occasions when I find myself holding half a dozen or so different threads in my head, moving them about, merging and separating, until everything fits together just so. A process that leaves me mentally exhausted but very satisfied. #AmWriting

@simplicitarian@cloudisland.nz by sheer (and sad ) coincidence we watched it last week, for the first time since it was new in the cinemas way back when. It's good to see a range of his work on TVNZ+, and it looks as if they're adding more daily.
A lovely one we have on DVD and re-watch from time to time is "The Dish".

I have mixed feelings about fanfic that departs from what the author actually said about her characters, but this does sound fun (and JA didn't actually publish what happened to Mary, she just told family members).
