They don't do this anymore because everyone caught on. Now, if there is a fire, locals organize and choose a trusted local to handle the money. Donations go directly to victims. The red cross can't steal the money and use it to move illegals into your country.

But not as stupid as making half your company "VP" which a lot of companies also do. Job titles are almost always stupid. The H1B visa should be abolished, but the government needs to at least raise their minimum pay to $200k or something. H1B was meant for highly skilled workers. $53k is not what highly skilled workers make in 2026.
