Right, as it's Armchair General time again for the Iran war, my detailed military analysis indicates that the U.S. and Israel has almost zero chance of eliminating the threat of Shaheed drones from Iran.
They're 3 metres long, can be hidden almost anywhere and can be launched from almost anywhere. And in a country the size of Iran there's a whole load of anywhere to choose from.
To put it in terms Trump might understand-

The fun part is the price he charges is about £70 per video. Personally, there's no way I'd say something racist or anti-Semitic for £70.

It's being reported that the Iranian women's football team have left Australia with 7 of the squad of 26 having claimed asylum.
The women, some with small children at home, all had to make an impossible decision. The could stay in Australia, with all the repercussions on their families at home in Iran, or go back to their families in Iran and face the consequences.
I know Trump will be disappointed they didn't all stay because now he can't claim the win, but the women couldn't be forced to stay if they didn't give their consent.
This is something Trump has always struggled with.

Well, yes, but these attacks seem to have only targeted the local oil distribution depots around Tehran, not the main production facilities in the south west of Iran.
It's a deadly yet performative kind of terror they are going for.

The latest news from Australia is that so far 5 of the Iranian women's football team have reached out and asked for asylum.
As they are currently with the police there is a chance they may say enough about how their guards have been keeping them virtual hostages for the police to intervene on behalf of the remaining members of the squad.

It's tempting, but the U.K. is doing everything it can NOT to escalate the situation. As sickening as the whole situation is to us, most of the U.K. public is not against us using our military capacity in the Middle East to try to contain the situation and defend the other Gulf states.

There are no winners when Trump makes the rules. Starmer's in an impossible situation. I don't think it's useful to question his motivations when he doesn't really have any. He's just reacting to circumstances way beyond his control.
