Last weekend I was at Metatopia, a convention for game designers in New Jersey. It is brilliant (as always) and I’ve written up details about all the games I played - it’s a moderately long read, but I’m excited by upcoming games! #ttrpg
Please take a read and share! https://planesailinggames.com/review/2025-11-12-metatopia-2025/
I’ve just published a free game inspired by the couragous students of the White Rose - in 1942 some students in Munich and their professor decided to start a leaflet and graffiti campaign to try to persuade other germans to turn aside from nazism. In 1943 they were captured and Hans and Sophie Scholl were executed for their part in it.
The game is one sheet of paper that can be folded into a little zine. It requires a deck of ordinary cards and a few minutes to play.
I’ve written a blog post about the updates I’ve made to my game “Escape the Apocalypse” after my playtesting at Metatopia 2025.

#IOS26 regressions
Apple have stupidly removed the ability to force sync on iPads. It used to be hidden under your profile picture under collections, but at least it was there. Now it tells me that the last sync was 29 minutes ago but won’t let me tell them to sync now.
Anyone found a way around this?
A few years have gone past - what do folks find the best app for using #mastodon nowadays?
I might want to update my current app, and I’m out of touch with what the best contenders are!
I've released a Halloween Ashcan of my new #ttrpg Escape to Utopia. It's a zombie plague special in recognition of the season, and it's free to download.
I'd love to hear feedback on it, either here or via email (especially if you play a game!)

I don’t suppose anyone knows if it is possible to go from iPadOS 26 back down to iPadOS 18?
I really want to have functional and fast multitasking again instead of the rubbish they have given us now
