Happy adoptiversary, #Katu. When we adopted her 12 years ago, she was barely touchable. Little, wild and fierce, but there was part of her that wanted love. Even 3 years ago I’d only cautiously ruffle her belly, but since she returned from her lost year, she’s been like this. @clickhere @baoigheallain I found bells just made people jump, so I call out “excuse me!”, or something of the sort. I used to cycle to work along the Thames path. Swans and geese are worse than most pedestrians.

@neotoy@mastodon.social old neighbours had their 80’s mahogany framed windows replaced with UPVC. Sadly the mahogany frames were gone before I could save them…hopefully the window guys saved them, but likely they were dumped 😢 We salvage every scrap of wood, there’s a growing woodpile for future projects. Thanks for saving the redwood 👍
