Industry backlash threatens Australia’s gas supply fix. Leaders must step up

Gas companies have withdrawn support for the government’s gas reservation policy. But their main critique doesn’t stack up.

ABC 7:30 Report doing a hatchet job on electric vehicles ! Blatant ICE thinking.
plan you charges,
down load the app before you set off,
only charge to 80% if you don’t need the extra range.

Evie is one of the better ones which allows you to register your car so it automatically links to your account when you plug it in.
If you want fast charging go to Goulburn and the Tesla superchargers which would be well in range for him. Of course he would have to download the Tesla app.

Domestic violence doesn’t exist, it’s assault and battery nothing less. Any government in Australia not fully funding resources to address this problem needs to be hounded out of office. It’s the biggest single issue in the country and it’s getting worse! If a man in the pub was assaulted the way a woman is assaulted at home the perpetrator would be behind bars before you could blink and the government would be rolling out new laws daily. #auspol Politicians pull your finger out now! https://7news.com.au/news/i-knew-id-end-up-on-the-news-domestic-violence-survivors-warning-as-australia-confronts-another-week-of-alleged-killings-c-22585896

'We pay taxes in Russia that helps war' — Oreo-maker's confession demands action on Russia remainers

The CEO of the U.S. snacking giant Mondelez has openly acknowledged that the taxes the company pays in Russia help Russia’s war against Ukraine, but that it was the "right decision" to remain in the aggressor country. Just three days after that shameless interview, Russian drones struck a Mondelez factory in Ukraine, injuring two people. However much the management of Russia remainers may wish to look away, corporate entanglement in Russia's war economy has real and violent consequences. These

  1. Distributing masks and hand sanitizers
  2. Upgrading hospitals
  3. Contact tracing
  4. Wrangling the ancient dinosaur of the Centrelink 1970’s payment system to provide Jodseeker and Jobkeeper payments to tens of millions in only months.
  5. The constant information about the disease and the progress fighting it
  6. Securing and distributing the vaccine to 25 million people, 3 times.
  7. Returning the country back to normal. A monumental effort.
