@hrefna@hachyderm.io I'm 43, vaccination for measles was not a thing when I was a kid.
My little brother had it so I got it too and, more importantly, my dad got it.
He spent a MONTH in bed, convinced he was going to die (he was overreacting a bit because he's rarely sick but it was a lot)
No relation but my best friend is resistant to the measles immunity. She had it twice already (as a kid and as a teen) and was vaccinated twice. The older she gets, the worse a new contamination could be.
Get a vaccine. Vaccine your kids. You don't want to have it, you don't want them to have it and you should not want to risk passing it to others.
