I like these clouds, all lined up and pointing across the sky, then disappearing on the horizon. And then the scale of it all, seeing people in the lower right hand corner by the compass overlay.

Those of you who voted for Wichita Lineman are correct!
Here's the snippet from the recent Rick Beato interview.

I suggest watching it in its entirety! Billy Joel is a musical American icon!

@shriramk@mastodon.social @olynch@mathstodon.xyz Sadly, I think the deepening of human-to-LLM bonding is distorting truthful communication. There's a bit of a behind-the-scenes justification dance by the sender(s). I'll just refer to this as, "A hill to die on."
(An issue or course of action that one pursues with total and wholehearted conviction, despite the difficulty and potential consequences of doing so.)
That was a cut & paste, not AI ;)

1) this is most definitely jazz!
2) hearing original compositions by experienced players is so refreshing
3) I am a sucker for jazz guitar!
4) Keep exploring - who was she influenced by? And then...
5) Go listen to THOSE jazz players.
Here is a count down list with one of my favorites - Wes Montgomery at #1

Here's a thought for really enjoying your music play back, especially as it relates to changing E.Q. settings. And that is...
Dont! *Leave it flat*
Don't try to remix the album/song to sound better than the hours the producer, band, and artist spent laying down thier unique audio. Give them credit. Listen to the pure, full mix as it was intended.
If you need more from your listening experience, I'd suggest trying different ear buds, bluetooth and/or stereo speakers. Focus on the output, not on re-shaping the song before it reaches your speakers. Let your ears settle in and you'll find that no 'E.Q.' is the best way to enjoy your music collection.

@Zygos@mastodon.social The pavement markings at intersections and designated bike lanes that converge with pedestrian crossings is visually convoluted if you ask me. I don't know who did the study on this, but unless you are hovering 20-30 feet above and looking straight down, 'lanes' make no sense when observed from the ground.
Let alone during the winter months when all of this disappears.

@ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org I can't match hanging outwith Perry Como or spending Christmas with Mancini - that is in another stratosphere!
I once performed with the Smothers Brothers, Steve Allen (the original Tonight Show host), singer Janis Siegel, (Manhattan Transfer), jazz artists; Randy Brecker (trumpet), Eddie Daniels (clarinet), Kenny Werner (piano), and the late Chris Vadala (sax, clarinet & educator.)
All of this fell into my lap while I was a music student and member of the WMU faculty jazz quartet. I was so blessed in those days!
