Then the Canadian and US govts implemented the North American Model of Wildlife Consevation to save and restore the lead-eradicated wildlife populations, and one of the tenets is no markets for wildlife (which was a keystone of the recovery of lost wildlife). The loss of many furbearer populations then birds was to supply European markets, and Indigenous trappers and hunters were part of that market. So some Indigenous nations and the non-Indigenous hunter-outfitters want wildlife markets but both previously contributed to the market-driven depletions of wildlife (rarity boosts prices).

The rising hate against Indigenous, gender diverse, immigrants, etc. is occurring under Liberal governance. The news is not supposed to be biased, so both editorial bias and especially front page ads aren't journalism. Coyne is RW biased, but still had the journalistic integrity to jump when his employer ditched journalistic principles and became tabloid propaganda. Senator Simons also has outlined how yankee ownership of postmedia turned it into a propaganda outlet. My eyes aren't clouded, I have no political alliance (no memberships), but these days the NDP are the only party with integrity and a commitment to democracy so I strongly support them.

Alberta is the heartland of renewables disinfo, so my trigger is light and I need quality research on renewables before I accept conclusions. If you have followed me, you know I am also critical of renewables when their negative externality is factually demonstrated, like how turbines are a critical threat to N.Am. bats because the wind industry refuses to implement mitigations unless regulations force them.
