@jolla@techhub.social Please consider making a video around the phone, just like you did with the C2. Having a face behind it might get more people to validate this phones legitimacy. After all, how many have heard about #sailfishOS before? #linuxphones #jolla I bet @SomeGadgetGuy@techhub.social would LOVE to get involved with SFOS too, even though he's from the US. 😉

@sailfishosnews #linuxphone #phone #sailfishOS #Jolla looks great!

@ilpianista Great to see! This is something I use quite often, thank you!

@cybette@mastodon.org.uk #SailfishOS #linuxphones #phone #jolla #degoogle Thank you for taking the time to make this post. Give a lot of more clarity to it's appearance than their short video.

@dubstar_04@fosstodon.org I hope it suits your needs well! So far my needs are very basic. But in due time I'll dabble in the terminal. Be sure to share any tips for it, if you find any 😀

@dubstar_04 @me just wanted to say that for me, personally. I've yet to experience most of those bugs. The only one is the fingerprint sensor breaking. But hey, using the tools Menu and restarting it worked for me. But I hope you'll enjoy the FLX1s. Been eyeing it too.

@craftyguy a new kind of dual booting haha

@HoSnoopy This isn't an account driven by the Sailfish team. I'd suggest emailing them or making a post in the forum.

@MrsVeggies @Linux @jolla They've said that, while they want to, they're focusing on the European market. They did however note down the bands that it'll be compatible with on their forum. So ask long as it has the appropriate bands for your needs, you could try to import it. I'd be happy to act as a middleman here.

@jolla@techhub.social yeah, merry christmas my fellow sailors 😊

@SomeGadgetGuy@techhub.social It's a terrible situation. When will an alternative to yt be viable?

@SomeGadgetGuy@techhub.social Another catalyst for your rants sounds really good! You're one of the better choices when it comes to reaching mindful nerds in the US after all 😀

@Antti98@mastodon.social glad my idea was good 😄

@dubstar_04@fosstodon.org Hah likewise! On the plus side, It makes it very rewarding to learn about it now. I replaced my moms Xperia 10 III a while ago with a repaired note 20 Ultra. So the moment I got home after the Jolla announcement, I flashed it. "Daily driving" sailfish now, just to prepare for the Jolla phone 😅

@senil@gts.social.senil.me I'm just another person online, but I'd love to help you getting a device if you want to. Just hit me up if your curiosity is unyielding 😅

@jolla Lovely, more exposure!

@frankps I'll get to downloading it as fast as I get to a charger haha

@poetaster thanks for the update and the dedication! Installed and ready to toot 👌

@MrsVeggies depends on the carrier from what I've understood. I know you can trick Verizon if you have a second phone to activate a sim, then transfer it to another device.

@Venty@chaos.social this is amazing!

@cat@social.lol @jolla@techhub.social It should support voLTE but voWiFi is yet ot be added to SailfishOS from what I understand.

@untrusted@social.tchncs.de I think the UI elemets of the os is proprietary. But I think it's best if you check the Github repo

@SomeGadgetGuy@techhub.social side channel "SomeOpenSourceGuy" or perhaps that as a youtube shorts persona. "The SOSG of this short"

@jolla@techhub.social this gives me Xiaomi Mi Mix (2016) vibes. And I love it! It's like almost like one of those lumia phones but bigger, great stuff!
