Hey #trans friends. If you have a gmail account, google is starting to let you change your email address! It just let me change mine! I'm trying to move away from their services, but there's just so much tied to the old one that it's not a fast process. Emails to the old address will continue to go there too.
I'm 100% done with #Lego. They continue to deadname me in correspondence, and this time they sent an email promoting that goddamn fantasy franchise by that horrible transphobe.

My city had a small summer event today and a long time friend was there doing balloon art. I hadn't seen him in years before last year when he was at my town's Pride festival. I had just come out at that point, so I was much more femme this year, and he made this corsage for me (my first!) to match my dress. It was so nice. Oh, he also made my kids stuff, but whatever, lol.

In twelve days I'm getting my new vagina installed and I'm very excited to be part of a study specifically on the microbiome of the neovagina. (And two other studies too!) The research is poor enough with regards to women's health in general, but even worse for trans women.
I haven't made any sort of romantic connection on Hinge yet, but I've meet some really cool people. The silliest is with a guy where our entire conversation has been to swap puns every couple of days and that's it.

Time for a new #introduction post! I just migrated to toot.lgbt, and hoping to see all the familiar faces! I'm a middle-aged, partially closeted trans woman. I write software for a living and lead a team of engineers. I do a lot of art and if you see me boosting anything from mastoart.social, it's probably me, but for safety I'm keeping the two accounts mostly separate for now. @erl I had a co-presenter correct an audience member who said "women" with "female presenting" and it sort of felt like a dig, even though the co-presenter is enby and I have to assume meant well.

I didn't think this post was going to get that kind of traction, but I wish I had mentioned that she's a foster and you could adopt her (if you lived somewhere in the vicinity of Cleveland, OH, a least)! She's got a sweet personality, likes attention, good with kids, and is obviously adorable.
