Since I'm on a portrait kick and all the famous painters do it, I tried a self-portrait sketch. 😬 One of the scarier things I've shared here.
I saw the #MonochromeMarch hashtag and thought it would be fun to do a painting! This painting is of a banded alder borer and was done in gouache on 12"x9" mixed media paper only using the color black. It was a very fun painting to do! (zine permission granted.)

A new #PFP for spring!
I didn't have time to finish the sketch during the Hack & Craft session last night, but after a bit more time last night and this morning it's complete. This was from a photo for the 5/1 meeting of the Pretentious Cleveland Portrait Artists and the model's name is Liz Herron. Thanks for hosting H&C, @cwebber@social.coop!
I did a sketch tonight of a tawny frogmouth from a picture a friend took at the Chicago zoo.
Hello everyone and welcome to a special "Molly's recovering from surgery" edition of the #PortraitChallenge . I'm too low on spoons to look up with the original was, but I enjoyed sketching this gentleman. Again on sketch paper with mars lumograph black pencils, and this time figuring out a blending stub! Look at me go!

I've never watched a #monsterdon, but reading your live tooting is one of my favorite Sunday night things.
I've been working on adding a trailer for the tractor in my video game. As usually, I nailed the physics on the first attempt (watch through to the end).

@frogglin omg I love him.
I have it working now, but I made my vehicle physics even worse before I made it better! https://youtu.be/mgCPEp_ajn4
Please enjoy that video and then check out farmhandgame.org, and rest assured that the tractor and trailer will actually work properly before 1.4.0 is released! 😊

Unrealistic. You'd never see our elected officials on a train.

I've got a broken brain noodle and I can't find what I'm looking for. Does anybody remember a mass transit add on a billboard with a subway car or metro on it with the wording along the lines of "because nobody ever got excited seeing a pull up"? Thank you, dears. 🙇♀️
I'm going on a leave of absence from work in a few days. Please tell me this AI nonsense will be over and a distant memory when I return. Please?
