@FlyPastRush@mstdn.ca And this is why I am building that Dragon Rapide 😎
(Quick shot of the negative with phone and then inverted)
This is from our trip to Duxford this spring 🤩
Perfect rainy Sunday for some #filmphotography craftsmanship and 'wash' another roll of 35mm 📷 😎

@stux@mstdn.social So do I... I've even become totally allergic to commercials, paywalls and any subscriptions in whatever form... 😒

@FlyPastRush@mstdn.ca I started doing my own B&W when I was around 14. Learned it from a school friend 😁
And when I was 20 graduated Photo school.
And now that I'm all grown up (and people move the stuff of their dads or grandpa's) I've finally got the enlarger and lenses I could back then only dream of... 😉
Two summers ago I moved my darkroom back home: https://www.marcomaas.com/2024/09/30/nieuwe-doka-aan-huis/

@stux@mstdn.social Capitalism has devolved into something grotesque for the majority... It won't make it til the end of this century... 😉😏

@FlyPastRush@mstdn.ca Yeah, that was quite the build indeed ... (mine was the SpecialHobby version) 😎 #ModelAircraft

@FlyPastRush@mstdn.ca @TheNovemberMan@bookstodon.com Has become very nice indeed 😍. I think I missed what kit this was? The Meng one?

I just started my #Tamiya #F35 #LightningII and oh boy is this an imperssive kit! Look at the detail of this 24-part (!) weapons bay (just the bay, we're not even talking doors or hardpoints here, just the bay!), and look at that almost absurdly flush fit! This is gonna be such a pleasure building 😁😎

Too late... 😉😏 Two KH kits have already snuck into my stash. Their Gripen B and the Mirage F-1CR.
Replying to
@FlyPastRush@mstdn.ca Hahaha, same here, among which also a Persian Cat and a ME-262 which a saw you boost one too... 😎
Others are Fokker F27M (1/72), Tamiya F-35A (third -once again better- decal set on order 🤣) and that finicky DeHavilland DH89 Rapide.
Current excuse for stalling at the airbrush stage is a #CodeRed #Heatwave in the Netherlands.... 😏
Periodic dusting session of the #modelaircraft and shelves... 😷
Sure is... 😁 #Fediverse #FTW

@FlyPastRush@mstdn.ca Thanks, the liberating thunderstorms just got finally unleashed on us.🙌
What brand is your cat? Is that the Academy kit? Or is that also the HB?
Replying to
@FlyPastRush@mstdn.ca Your timeline makes a stark reminder of all my half-started/unfinished kits, and I don't like it... 😉🤣

@FlyPastRush I just stumbled across this old slide from 1993 of an F-4F somewhere in the Netherlands on an airshow 😊

And of course we had some good fun in exceptionally fine un-British weather in Cambridge and London.
😉😁
Replying to
@FlyPastRush And the F-5B is gonna be a CF-5B I guess? 😊 Or having other plans?
Mine is gonna be the bottom version. I already did the 'Zebra' on the first NF-5B and the all grey livery for the NF-5A (and I don't like the old grey/green camo on top 😉)
Replying to
@FlyPastRush What Academy kinda expects you to do I guess... 😉
Btw: got an F-5B here on the desk too, almost same stage. The Kinetic kit
Replying to
@FlyPastRush I 'slightly' overengineered the intakes on that Academy kit last year... 😉

@FlyPastRush That's a nice trio. I have yet to do an aggressor livery, but got an TA-4J in the stash for that.
Nu moet Nederland alleen zijn eigen Fidesz partij (de #VVD) nog ff weg stemmen... Andere verpakking, zelfde corruptie... 🤷♂️
There they are again; now in holding pattern to get in line behind RYR50JL on approach for EHV.
Nice bunch of callsigns by the way... 😂

And then I'm not even mentioning the big retreat-from-the-cloud movement that is building....
