@volpeon@icy.wyvern.rip @rich@mastodon.gamedev.place This is the perfect opposite to #TinyBalancingSheep

@eclectech@things.uk One human booped another on the TV programme I was watching last night. I'm not sure whether I was more shocked that she did it, or that she said "beep" rather than "boop". #boop

@BashStKid@mastodon.online @HarrietMonkhouse@mcr.wtf @WCOW@beige.party @HeatherMJ@mastodon.social @TCMuffin@toot.wales I don't think the writers would put her back with Tom. Not after the conversation between Kirsty and Tom a few months ago, where Tom was assuming they would have got back together had Wren not died, and Kirsty put him right and said that would never have happened. #TheArchers

@Shelly@beige.party The female wasn't a Welsh speaker. Her English was fluent, though she ended the conversation with 2 words of what Google tells me is Turkish. I suppose if English isn't her first language, that could excuse her not knowing the word "boop". @eclectech@things.uk

@WCOW@beige.party And Brian already putting in a strong bid for a 4th consecutive win. #TheArchers

@bloor I don't know whether the ban would have been possible before Brexit, but I don't think it was brought in because of Brexit. If, as the government intends, it helps to protect UK livestock from foot and mouth disease, then I approve of the ban. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/government-extends-ban-on-personal-meat-imports-to-protect-farmers-from-foot-and-mouth

@bloor I don't know, you may be right. But, given how awful the 2001 FMD outbreak was, I'm happy for the government to take an (over)cautious approach.

@gilesgoat@toot.wales I've found this, which might help. Maybe the livestock mart would be willing to help you contact farmer.
