Q4: I have also worked in education (hence the learning theme). How would you go about teaching your creative/maker skills to other interested people? #MakersHour

Q3: On that theme, one of my reasons for making is I 'Make to Learn’. How do you go about learning new things/skills? #MakersHour

Q5: I tend not to make many kits because I have a habit of ‘short cutting’ instructions. Do you always follow instructions, or are you a basher/hacker-about-er? If you’re teaching someone, would you expect them to always follow the instructions? #MakersHour

@Andy@tenforward.social Somehow, I find homemade bath panels* so much better than the plastic shop bought ones. *Though not the ones that are tiled and fully enclose the bath so that the plumbing can't be fixed! #MakersHour

@Andy@tenforward.social I am picky too, especially with tools. One Christmas I asked Sue to get me a 3mm chisel for Christmas, except I needed it for a job first. So Sue bought it, I used it, then she wrapped it for Christmas. 😁 #MakersHour

@Andy@tenforward.social Yes, When I first started studying furniture making, my then partner's family were trying to buy me all sorts or crappy tools in ignorance of what I actually needed. I had to tell them to stop. #MakersHour

@drfootleg@fosstodon.org On a big screen I have found I get bored before the rocks get too close. Probably a less effective game play on smaller screen. I last played a few weeks ago at the NW Computer Museum. #MakersHour

@jmeowmeow@hachyderm.io I did get into baking, a while ago. I was then tempted to enter some cakes into a small competition at a faire. So I baked. It was only at the faire that I realised that I used plain flour instead of self raising and the cakes were not very good at all. #MakersHour
