@afewbugs@social.coop I once upset white suprematist Twitter and I got a ton of antisemitic abuse presumably because my avatar picture is taken with a fisheye lens and makes my nose look big. That was enough for them to decide I was Jewish. Made me realise how dumb white suprematists really are, and that it was time to get off the cesspit that Twitter had become.

@me@jaehanley.social my brother used to write passports back in the days when they were handwritten and still had ‘identifying marks’ on the form. Somebody once put ‘mole on left buttock’ and they had to write to him and suggest he didn’t put that on the form unless he was willing to drop his trousers in every airport he ever went through.

@Daojoan@mastodon.social I once worked on a mezzanine in a building that was a converted library. There was marble and teak everywhere. Without the thousands of sound absorbing books the noise was atrocious. Decision taken by someone in an oak panelled office in a grade 1 listed building.
