for #Game publishers who think that accessibility doesn't sell. I just bought Civilization 5, not just once, but twice, you know why, because a modder made the game accessible to the blind, and not only did I want to play, it, I bought it for my brother who also loves these kinds of games. Accessibility definitely sells, just put some real effort in to making your games accessible or instruct your developers to work extensively on accessibility, and you'll find wails like me who are willing to buy a game twice just because multiple people in my family who are blind including myself want to play this game.

Well, I'm about to play this game called #Civilization5 for the very first time thanks to a modder who made it accessible to the #Blind with use of a screen reader. Yeah, heard this is the best game in the series, and I am super excited to play a game like this as I have always wanted to do so.
Had some nice Vietnamese Black #Tea today to start off the morning, super awesome.

Wow, I just learned about music packs for #Rimworld, and I am super excited to play using the new music I have for the game now.

This is the kind of shit that makes me see why the hell a lot of police officers end up being terrible toward their wives, the reports of domestic abuse with police officers is actually insane, and I'm glad this dude didn't get away with it, but the type of dude who'd punch a woman at a traffic stop is the same dude who would most definitely go home and unfortunately beat his wife.

Yeah, I learned about this, apparently for months there wasn't even a government running the country, just a provisional government while votes were still being counted and negotiations were being made as to whom the actual people in the government would actually take over the positions given the fact there are 13 parties each of them vying for those same positions. Wild, but I kinda get it though, though I learned this all from my girl who had to explain it to me.
Hmm, eat food or play #Rimworld. I guess I should eat, but I've been having trouble determining when I'm hungry versus when I am not, as my body seems not to be able to tell me accurately, even when I should be hungry after not eating for a long time. Kinda strange.

@jane_jordan@dragonscave.space That's because you have to move the character closer to the enemy before you can attack, warriors can only hit from one tile away from an enemy, ranged fighting is possible, but you need to research archery to be able to recruit ranged units.

@coboldragon@dice.camp I'm playing on PC, and so far, I just made it past the introduction quest an completed the first quest before you have to go find that tablet for that wizard who needs it to report back to whatever this dude's name is, dragonStone I believe he called it. So far its pretty accessible with the mod and I've been having quite the blast for sure, probably should have slept instead, but oh well.

Haven't even started the next quest because there is so much interesting stuff out there that I could do before it.
I sincerely hope that one day, we get Fedra for the Mac. Fedra has quickly become my masto app of choice, because it doesn't distract me when I need to do other shit, and browsing with it is just super easy.
