Todays plans involve moving very little, discovering if I can actually eat any of the food I bought yesterday, and probably gaming. Have a fab day everyone 🙂

I'm totally confused with my days thanks to F1, the race is at lunchtime today so hopefully I will be more functional by then. Good morning everyone. It is getting to the time of year where my body would like to stay in bed longer, the cats are yet to receive this memo. It was a struggle to haul myself from bed at 4.50am. I want to crochet, but I really do need to do some chores today, especially the washing before I run out of clothes. Ah well, I will get to crochet later, its exciting, I will have to grab a new ball of yarn, I do wonder how many I will actually use compared to how many I bought. Yesterday I bought this fab little bag from a wonderful lady at the arts festival, it will be perfect for storing threads for cross stitch projects. We had a great discussion about how buying material/threads/yarn/any crafty stuff and then actually using them are entirely different hobbies. Part 3 of Not So Scary Apothecary by Tiny Modernist is complete. Now the wait for part 4 next week. Not to worry though, the 4th part of Her Science, Her Story by Climbing Goat Designs comes out today, so plenty of crafty things to keep me out of mischief! #CrossStitch

Good morning lovely ones. I'm still not sure if I'm alive or not. Yesterday was a lot. The train through was far too hot and made me ill, really struggled to keep myself upright. It took 90 minutes to walk about a mile, I didn't even have time to go to the pub (not that I was fit for that). Mean Girls was good, but the first half felt a bit flat, I think that was more because of how I was feeling. The second half was a lot better. I do love the fact that the official programme is called Burn Book. Walking back to the train station was a little easier, possibly because it was raining so cooled me right now. The highlight of the walk was a young person coming up to me and saying shyly that they liked my bag and thanking me for it. I love this bag, it helps to spot the bigots as they start frothing at the mouth when they see it 😉 Pitbull had a gig in Glasgow last night, so seeing all the folks wearing bald caps was highly entertaining if a little confusing until The Spawn explained to me that is what his fans do. The train home was pretty quiet, although there was a leak above my seat, someone else had the same issue. Thankfully I was able to move to a different seat. Getting back into Dundee, it was absolutely lashing down, so I ended up getting a taxi home. I had the worlds chattiest driver who told me his life story, I even got to see pictures of him when he was younger. Faking being interested while feeling so awful is hard work, but I'm a polite person. Normally when I get home from a long theatre day, I stay up late to decompress and to eat. Instead I was in my bed within 30 minutes of getting home. A huge spider crawled out from behind my TBR pile as I grabbed a book, that startled me a bit. As soon as I lay down in bed, I started feeling a lot better, so I'm voting on train stations having a safe place to lie down before or after travelling 😂 I did end up staying up too late, reading a very good book. Today will be a very slow day, probably spend a lot of it in bed because I am still feeling grim but very glad to be upright and not feeling like I'm about to collapse. I hope you all have a magical day 😊

Good morning folks. Ouch, groan, argh, creak, crunch, thwack, scream, pop. Just some of the sounds I have been making this morning. I have loads of chores I need to get on with, but I suspect I won't be doing them 😇 I want to do some crochet if my body will let me. Having a gloriously healthy breakfast of local berries and cherries, resisted the urge to add a slice of lemon drizzle cake to it, that will be for later along with all the other unhealthy stuff. Good morning everyone. I did not do any of the things yesterday. My body pretty much said no. I did stitch lots, do some gaming, helped The Spawn with something, and then spent the day in bed with a good programme and crochet. I did need that restful day though, I feel so much more human today (so far). I watched The Map of Longing yesterday, its based on a book I have never heard of. It was such a good show, but also a tough watch, it seems that I still struggle with things involved dead sisters. At the same time though, I did enjoy the programme. I have finally sorted out a parcel and will hopefully have time to get to the post office today since I will be in town. The Spawn has the opticians this morning, and then he is thinking of buying a new phone. He is a little grumpy that he will have to use his own money, now he is an adult, I don't buy these things for him. He has always had to save up for his tech, but in years gone by, I have bought his glasses for him. Fingers crossed he will manage with leaving the house today, he really needs this appointment. I need to jump in the shower and then get some washing on. The problem with having really bad health days when I get do things is that I then end up with loads of chores to do, urgh. Good morning everyone. Well, the past few days have been a bit grim, fingers crossed for better news today! Yesterday I was up just after 3am and had a fairly decent day, if we ignore the usual weird symptoms. I got up at the same time again this morning, so lets see how it goes. 3am starts seem to suit me, maybe its the few hours of quiet that help my nervous system before outside noise starts. Todays plans are very quick chores and then crack on with stitching. Good morning folks. Yesterday The Spawn made it to the optician without issue, he was even through to the living room 45 minutes before the bus! He is absolutely raging that he spent £155 on glasses though, although that is 2 pairs and one of them have a tint for the days when everything is just too bright. Once we got home I managed a little bit of the apothecary SAL although I was too tired for much of anything. I've had an awful nights sleep, it was windy so I had to close the window, so I was obviously awake every hour absolutely burning up. Todays plans involve coffee and stitching, if I can summon the energy I shall venture out to get bread and maybe something tasty. Have a lovely day everyone 😊 #GoodMorning

Finally have all the house plants in decent pots. Had to move the TBR pile to make space for all the plants in my bedroom and tragedy struck. It has finally happened, I had a repeat in my TBR pile 😱 I'm normally so good at knowing what is in the piles, even if they were bought a couple of years ago! So now I have two copes of The Winter List by S.G MacLean.

Two finished projects today. A cool Sashiko cushion cover is finished, I started this when I started going to craft group and have only stitched it there, feels appropriate to finish it as the group ends for summer. A proper finish on a cross stitch, that hoop is now definitely decorative, I just need to attach a bit of ribbon and I can hang it up. #Sashiko #CrossStitch #Craft

Good morning lovely ones. Well, there is nothing good about it tbh, I've barely slept and my super organised self isn't organised, I ran out of cat biscuits, so the cats hate me. That means I need to do an emergency trip to the shop today, that could be interesting since I am struggling to walk around the house without nearly falling/fainting. Yes, I am grumpy. But I have sat on the doorstep with coffee and looked in despair at the garden. I have also had a shower. I hope you all have the best day, I'll likely disappear until the grumps have passed! Good morning folks. Monday and I have to do things today. I would love to say I am full of energy and motivation but I don't tell lies. Coffee will get me through, maybe. Today we are going to see the new Spiderman film, I can't say I'm overly excited about it, but since The Spawn rarely leaves the house and wants to see it, I will go. Although the temptation to put him in the cinema and then sit in the restaurant for the duration of the film is very real. When I'm in town, I'll also pop to the post office to finally get a book in the post. I have a heap of chores I really need to get done before going out today as well. There will also be a fight for who gets the shower first this morning. The nephew plans to go out early today. I started crocheting the cardigan last night, and by that, I mean I got the chain done 😂 I will definitely need to watch the tutorial video as I go forward with the cardi, already confused with some of the terms in the written pattern. The plan will be to carry on with that either tonight or tomorrow. I have a lot of outside things to do this week, so I need to plan my crafting/rest time so I make it through the week. I completely forgot about these bears until I was looking at my photos. I only saw these today, which shows how good my memory is! Temporary charity sculpture trails have became a big thing over the passed few years. This is one in Perth and Kinross called Bear's Big Adventure Trail, in support of YMCA Tayside and the youth provision they provide. Only saw these two (and a little one in a coffee shop window that I couldn't get a photo of), but they made me so happy. #Scotland #Sculpture

I think I'm getting more comfortable with crochet, although I still have no clue what I am doing. Finished breakfast, watching a video on youtube, waiting for the washing machine finishing and found myself reaching for the hook and yarn. While I have big ambitions of making a blanket, a shawl and all the other lovely things. I'm finding myself feeling contented just getting comfortable with the hook and yarn, taking the pressure off myself to be good at crochet. Oh how my mindset has changed from when I first had the idea of trying crochet for the eleventy thousandth time! #Crochet

Morning folks. Things have been pretty grim the past few days and I'm having that good old fight with my mental health (again). This morning though, I had to deal with some chores, drinking lots of coffee and I've even watered the garden. Shopping being delivered later since I won't be out this weekend (F1 is in Hungary). I need to get on with the Not So Scary Apothecary stitching since it got ignored yesterday in favour of gaming and despair. Good morning folks. The computer tells me its Saturday since I had no clue. I had a horrific night of pain, my elbows decided to seize up, ffs. Not ashamed to admit I was crying out in pain, enough that Fat Cat came bounding through to the room at 2am to run all over me until I settled down. Finished part one of Not So Scary Apothecary by Tiny Modernist. I like this, think I am going to really enjoy this SAL, but I might end up getting overwhelmed with a weekly SAL. Watched Project Hail Mary while stitching this morning, probably not the best film to watch while stitching, so many tears, I didn't expect to be stupidly emotional at that film. Good morning lovely ones. Fat Cat slept in the washing basket all night, skinny cat bounced onto the bed at 4am and fell asleep again, so I had a long lie until 4.45am! I feel reasonably okay this morning, so I'm obviously going to overdo it, I'll do a couple of chores and shower, might even pop to the shop, then it will be a stitching day. I do need to make sure I rest plenty since its the start of Pittenweem Arts Festival tomorrow, its almost like I'm excited about it since I keep mentioning it. Onwards to start my day. It is also race weekend, although with the amount of English drivers on the grid, I am not looking forward to the commentary especially Crofty! No doubt he won't shut up about the football either 🙄 I predict lots of rest in my day 😉 I suppose I will do some chores, mainly because it would be nice to have clean plates for when I decide to eat later. Good morning lovely ones. I managed more sleep, sort of, by sleep I mean tossing and turning most of the night wondering why my body hates me so much. Since it decided to pull that bullshit, I've been up since 3.30, deep joy. A day at home today since its sprint race weekend. Hopefully I can stay awake for all of that. Despite being so sore and tired - again - I do need to get on with some chores today, just as soon as I've showered, hoping hot water will ease the aches, ha, eternally optimistic here, or dumb 🙄 I want to finish the Tiny Modernist SAL instalment today, then perhaps get on with the Her Science, Her Story SAL. I would like to get another couple of rounds done on the crochet too. Along with other big ambitious ideas of things I need to do around the house. Also really fancy an omelette for breakfast today. Huh, I might be starting to feel a bit better since I am talking a lot of shite once more, or it could be the multiple cups of coffee I've already had today while still thinking maybe I should get another pot of coffee on the go. Yes Fi, that is entirely sensible to start finishing the back of a cross stitch project while you are supposedly getting ready for craft group. Guess I will take this with me and hope to get this finished along with the sashiko this morning. Then it is summer break from the group as the business dives into running craft summer camps for kids!

Good morning lovely ones. Well I had a shite sleep. I was just drifting off last night when I heard a car pull up outside, people got out the car and then very loud voices, very very loud. One of the male voices says "I used to live...*says my house number* ...blah blah blah", conversation carries on very loudly, then a knock at the door. I know The Spawn won't answer, so I go over and fling the bedroom window open, oh its the person that claims he used to live here, asking if he can show his partner around. Knowing full well that he is full of shite, I ask when he lived here "In the early 90's", I tell him he is mistaken since we lived here at that time, so he changes his tune and says late 80s. Again I call him out on it, he is getting rattled now, the female looks confused, another neighbour comes along and joins the conversation, things get louder. By this point I've had enough and tell the weirdo to fuck off. The neighbour "guides" him back to his car and after more loud conversation the strange, strange people drive away. I have no idea what that was about, but safe to say it kinda freaked me out so I ended up not sleeping much, mostly dozed on and off until 3am when I gave up and got up. I've had cuddles with Fat Cat this morning, much needed. Played Cozy Grove and had some coffee. Meds have finally kicked in, so its shower time now then I will decide what to do with the day. It will likely involve more coffee....since a pot is brewed and waiting to be finished. Have a lovely day everyone 😊

Well, that has been a night of very little sleep and feeling awful, lots of weird body things going on, the most annoying ones being a very sore throat and the hip pain is back with a vengeance. Even the Visible app agrees that I need rest today, so I might go back to bed after this cuppa - a rarity for me, but I have been up since 1am! Today I plan to finish this part of Her Science, Her Story, who do you think it is? 😝 I also need to repot a couple of plants, and look for more plant pots since erm, well, I keep buying plants and don't want to keep them in plastic pots where they are rootbound. Those plans don't sound like a lot of rest, oops 😉 Although with how I am feeling, I suspect my body will force me into resting if I want to or not. Third part of Her Science, Her Story SAL is complete. This time we have Lise Meitner who co-discovered nuclear fission. Some messy stitching and mistakes due to being very ill, normally stitching helps me feel better, but doing all the backstitch has been pushing me to the edge of fainting, fun times. #CrossStitch

Good morning lovely ones. Its theatre day, hurrah! Off to Glasgow, looking forward to it, even if I do feel pretty horrendous just now. I am sure once I get my coffee and lemon muffin at the train station, I will feel just fine 😁 It is going to be a long day, leave the house at 9 and will be home 12 hours later.
