@gedeonm@mastodon.social @bigzaphod@mastodon.social My daughter is 9 and this is one of her favorite apps on her iPad. I can't begin to tell you how much she draws on it, but I can say the whole family is glad we're subscribed.

@cliffwade@infosec.exchange Whatever happened to how it used to be years ago, with AIM and IRC, a plethora of phpBB forums… those were the good ol’ days.

@matt_birchler@mastodon.social Mac display, especially if I feel like having an ultra wide while I'm coding. Occasionally movie/show watching while immersed (For All Mankind while on the moon was an experience). Spatial FaceTimes with remote developers around the world.

@matt_birchler@mastodon.social Voted "Past week" but the result isn't coming up on my end. But I use it a few times a week, usually with a Spatial FaceTime involved alongside work.

@justkwin@toot.community And for those of us who can't come out to CA, hello (from Arizona, in my case) and thanks for everything.

@dvrzan I've always preferred reading. A well written article with code snippets is easier to consume than a video I have to watch and wait to see what part is relevant to my coding problem.

@marcpalmer@iosdev.space I turn off work trees and just assume anything I ask Claude to do will be on my current branch. Sure, it means I can’t “multitask”, but I feel more in control.
Tim Cook says he reads emails every day. Do we have John Ternus’ email yet?
@lightbeaminsight@mastodon.social I would love to see macOS continue to improve the recently clustering support. If we have a Mac mini/studio that we need to upgrade, incentivize us to keep it and expand our local AI network. Maybe wifi can’t be used for shared model distribution, but let my local devices talk to my local network before trying a cloud solution.

@justkwin So littering my projects with a health amount of #.warnings as reminders is good coding practice after all?

@johnvoorhees I recently discovered that I end up going iPad first, with my iPhone layout being planned more as an iPad multitasking design. And then Catalyst takes over and brings the iPad design to the Mac.

@richardrobinson@mastodon.social @lorihc@mastodon.social I was hoping to add local metadata caching to @DoMarks@indieapps.space later this year (after I get 3.0 out in a couple of weeks). This looks like exactly what I would want to use. Perfect timing!

@craiggrannell@mastodon.social I've thought about adding it to the Safarai Extension I include in @DoMarks@indieapps.space. I'm in the middle of an app rewrite, so I might add that in.

@matt_birchler Apple spends billions developing a folding iPhone because someone in 2019 hated marketings decision to split out iPadOS, leading to them back to a single OS name across their devices. 😂 (It was a much simpler time back then…)

@Alexjusino I will probably do it with my next new app project. I do try to address those warnings when I can but I haven't done a proper dive into what they truly mean.

@louie I have a HomePod mini in my office. It's purpose is just as a "smart" speaker. Never touched, only spoken to. A few months ago it started randomly playing music unprompted. Then it got into a reset loop. The issue? Faulty touch sensor on top. Apple suggests I buy a new one.
@schwa@mastodon.social @tonyarnold@mastodon.social @ryanbooker@mastodon.social Spatial FaceTime is one of the best experiences on AVP. If a more affordable option can somehow become available in the future, _this_ will be a killer feature. I do this every week and I'm constantly blown away with the experience.
@lightbeaminsight@mastodon.social Exactly. I've not bought a Mac desktop before, but I would definitely switch to one if I knew it would still be useful to me for 10+ years.

@colincornaby@mastodon.social Now they need a Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds remaster (and to bring that to the Mac, too).

@craiggrannell@mastodon.social What's your take on localized screenshots in press kits? Is it worth having a set of images in each supported localization?

@stroughtonsmith@mastodon.social Having regular Spatial FaceTimes takes it over the top with me. I want all FaceTimes to end up like this in the future.

@curthard89@mstdn.social @siracusa@mastodon.social I’m still annoyed when you go from selecting a non-shared folder to a shared folder. The folder you just selected moves completely away from where your cursor is at. Sometimes it leads me to immediately deselecting the folder I want to get into! 😡
