Here's a reason we have basements in many parts of country.
Although I remember growing up, experiencing the high humid days, how moist the basement would get even with dehumidifier running.
But still cooler than outside.
Caves are not a terrible idea. 😉 😎

You don't have to memorize them, because:
-- plenty of access to information sources containing that data: phone, watch (if you use one), computer, calendar (various locations), etc.
-- If you must memorize them... cut the total down - by just memorizing the "short months" (or the long ones)... If you do that, then any other month is either short or long.
Short is only 5
Long is 7
Memorizing - too much work.
Another example of "proving you are innocent".
Sheriff's office unwilling to perform any detective work.
Thankfully - his supporters were able to get the D.A. to change the direction.
Two weeks of his life will always be about the false charges, loneliness of sitting in a jail cell, having a mug shot associated to a crime he did not commit.

All containers - aluminum, glass, paper, plastic, paper/plastic bags -- should have a "deposit" required of $1.00
This would lessen all containers on the side of the road. AND it would significantly help the few people who pick up these 'tossed items' (aka litter) -- usually very poor or homeless.
Impatient people at a "Y' - type intersection have now spread glass/plastic and vehicle body parts on the road - making one lane useless - while they wait on County Sheriff to respond.
Doesn't look like human injuries occurred. I don't even see airbags deployed.
All because folks couldn't wait for someone to turn left (or last second turn) in a 35 mph no-passing zone.
Now a train is going through... which will pile up traffic - to only hit this crash zone - all at once from both directions.
This area is fixing to get 30ish hours of rain, starting tomorrow, Noon.
Prepare for headlines of cars trying to swim under overpasses - even though signs and media tell people 'do not do that'...

Road departments really should paint depth lines on the walls of the overpasses and put words like:
One foot - car may die
Two foot - car will die
Three foot - Swim out
Four foot - Drowning
Five foot - we will get you out after water subsides
Six foot - REALLY - you drove into this?
So... #Netflix changed their "My List" screen to one of those "horizontal - aka panning" screens to look through the items you have checked.
THIS IS THE VERY WORSE form of scrolling through the list of items you have selected to watch.
I have a wheel - - Let me use the wheel to go up & down - - why are you making life harder???

Just an idea...
If you have pants that you like - or are close... you can break all of the seams on those into separate panels - to be a pattern for you to work with/modify.

This past weekend at a gathering, I ran into (unplanned) several people that I haven't seen in probably 10 years and haven't talked to since I dropped the other two social systems.
They are still part of the cult - and show no signs of recognizing that they are.
