@farah@beige.party and sorry you're dealing with that situation, parenting is exhausting even when everything is going well :/ It makes me ashamed to see/hear about so many dads utterly failing to see drastic imbalances in parenting duties

@skinnylatte@hachyderm.io I'm sure you're just bringing the fried rice in a box, but this got me imagining all the cursed ways one could eat fried rice on-the-go. Like in a travel mug, a pastry piping bag, an ice cream cone?

@kevbob@xoxo.zone @mathowie@xoxo.zone I managed to get a couple refurbished 16tb Toshiba Enterprise drives for $200 each around black Friday last year. I was hesitant about the purchase at the time, but I'm feeling a lot better about it now haha

@pathunstrom does Subnautica not let you turn off hunger/thirst? I know you said that games with that implementation feel lacking with it off, but I don't remember how much of the gameplay loop is based around hunger and thirst. I certainly remember feeling like it was an unnecessary mechanic when I was playing, but I never tried removing it

@farah@beige.party I don't remember where I heard it, but there's some advice I like that says each parent should be doing 60% of the work

@skinnylatte@hachyderm.io this gives the same vibes as characters in RPGs telling the hero main character about how dangerous an area is

@JadedBlueEyes@tech.lgbt lol, "unknown error" should imply the existence of a known error
