Já mám spíš pocit že se "poradci" snaží aby byl mrtvý protože na takto zmrazený penězích už potom těch x měsíců nemají jak vydělat. jinak konzervativnější investice snad neexistuje.

IMHO IPv6 si great experiment it has some good ideas - like link local addresses - it could be super useful for administration of router on the same lan. If it could be used from web browser...
ipv6 is more than 20 years old now. And still its adoption is driven more by curiosity than practicality

IMHO, the worst part of all this is that Trump was actually chosen by people. Even though he’s made life harder for the majority, there have been almost no protests—at least from my perspective in the Czech Republic (Europe).
BTW we’re not better. We’re just lucky that this time we’re led by a lesser asshole.
Spent 40€ on basicaly two pieces of metal welded together. I somehow expect, for that price, the weld to be perpendicular.
Well... not much...
Fortunately it is not twitsted so it seems to have no effect on accuracy. But c'mon...
Hi can someone give me hint how to solve missing or maybe wrong fonts used in #openSUSE ?

BTW guys, try to implement DHCPv6 client. You soon realize that there can be plenty of servers each can offer some options and is up to poor client to deal with that.
The people who made that spec were so freak of out not being flexible enough that they came up with spec which is impossible to implement completely nor test it.

@wolf480pl@mstdn.io That is a good point. One of my home owners was about to do that with led light. (it was double insulated so there was no PE screw) but I managed to tlak him to not do that after some time :D

@nivex@tenforward.social IMHO V6 already proven what kind of miracle, It is time to take few good features it has and start over...
It needs to be way less confusing, more practical and have some security.

Eww - I disabled password on my AP and #android17 happily autoconnects to it without a word, despite having saved old password.
I believe it will complain when BSSID of AP changes...

@kravietz@agora.echelon.pl Well yes, just connect it to whatever pc you have ssh acces too. I think you can pass to ssh comman another command to run on target machine so ssh login@yourpc "screen /dev/ttyUSB0 115200" might be all you need
I moved recently, which reminded me that I should update my domain info too. However, the registered email was my old school email, which I lost access to a decade ago...
So, I sent an email to my hosting support.
The good thing: they changed my address and email without any further verification.
The bad thing: to steal my domain, the only thing someone would need is my SMTP server credentials (assuming they bother to check the DKIM signature).

what in ipv6 is easier? SLAAC had potential until you got to the point when you need for some machines known addresses.
Performing better, well I think it has smaller headers but bigger addresses, it needs plenty of addresess and the works thing is it needs plenty of multicast addresses more than you have HW filters on some ethernet IPs which needs you to go into promiscuous mode and do SW filtering of all broadcast.
